I heard about Right Way Services through a co-worker while we were talking about an issue with my sunroom roof. The roof sheathing was rotting out under the shingles by the time I discovered the leak. He told me about Norm and his crew and said I should have him take a look. Luckily I did. Norm was quick to assess my roof and discovered hail damage on the main roof. I contacted insurance for them to look at the damage as well. The roof was covered for replacement and Norm was quick to get it replaced. We picked the color shingles we liked, and the material was delivered the day before they started. Our home is about 2,200 sqft, and the crew completed the entire tear off and re-shingle in one work day. The rotted sheathing was replaced as well as some vent flashing that had dry rotted. Norm also told us about the importance of ice and water shield on the valleys of the roof and how lots of other roofers won’t spend the money to do it. Glad we went with Right Way Services, no leaks! Norm was professional, courteous and true to his word. The name says it all … he does it “the right way”. A synthetic underlayment was used instead of tar paper, edges of the roof and valleys are protected against ice and water damage, step flashing instead of strip flashing, lifetime boots over vent pipes through the roof, snapped chalk lines to keep shingle courses straight, nailed the shingles extra nails, replaced damaged and rotten decking as needed and worked with my insurance agent which saved me a lot of dollars. He cleaned up the yard thoroughly including “nail sweepers” to get loose nails. In my opinion that’s the right way to do a job. He also did a couple of small gratis jobs to say thank you to me for allowing him to re-roof my house.
